SWIFT Data from Mobile Bay USRS Experiment. SWIFTs are surface drifters that measure turbulence in the upper few meters of the ocean, as well as currents, near-surface temperature and salinity, surface wave spectra, and air-side temperature and wind speed. These data include strong turbulence in the presence of tidal plume fronts.
